I heard the track, I Know You Rider, on The Avant Ghetto Monday morning. The eleven minute track was recorded 12-10-17 by Jesse DeRosa of Baked Tapes......believe this wonderful laid back groove will be released.

Conklin mentions that Sun City Girls will be reforming with the Chris Corsano as the new drummer......is this news to anyone else?

The Bishop bros played what seemed like a one off show in London last year as a quartet with Corsano and Mick Flower entitled Clandestine Quartet, so i guess this recormation follows on from that.

Last night, Jeff Conklin hosted a MV/EE Virtual Aurality listening party, that ended up lasting two hours and featured some unreleased Wet Tuna......the chat room was lively with lots on info shared. The plan is to do something similar next weekend.

Who is Jeff Conklin?

P.S. MV&EE have been adding stuff to their bandcamp more frequently since lockdown.

Jeff has been the Sunday night host of The Avant Ghetto for several years. At one time, one hour of the three hour program was dedicated to Grateful Dead bootlegs. His show was the first place I heard, Wet Tuna. Jeff occasionally plays unreleased stuff Matt gives him.

The Avant Ghetto is on WFMU and they have an app that allows you to listen live or DL previous shows within the app for playback offline.
