Anybody here into running?

Last year I took a challenge to run in a 10 mile race. I trained with some people all summer and did it. It was pretty fun.

I'm more into smoking and wheezing.

atsonicpark 02.24.2010 11:56 AM

No, my dick bounces up and down and hits me in the face.

ni'k 02.24.2010 12:00 PM

no, i don't hate my body.

the original pincho 02.24.2010 12:03 PM

I always thought I hated it, but it was pretty fun.

Artsy grrl did some walk-a-thons

SONIC GAIL 02.24.2010 12:03 PM

I used to hate running. I still am not the best runner. I prefer spinning and step aerobics. But sometime I challenge myself and run the treadmill. It is killer, but you feel so free. Especially when you crank up some metal on the ipod. Everything else melts away.

I would like to do one of those one day. They have a river run here I'd like to try. Hard but quite rewarding.

I don't like it on the treadmill. We trained by running a few minutes then walking onwe minute. It makes it alot easier.

ilduclo 02.24.2010 12:10 PM

2 miles a day, down to 10 min, so......the 5 minute mile!

chrome noise tape 02.24.2010 12:13 PM

I used to run but now my body disgusts me.

SONIC GAIL 02.24.2010 12:13 PM

It does seem harder on the treadmill. That is kida what I did on the tread mill though. I would run 5mph for 2 minutes then take it down to walking fast for a minute..and so forth. Exercise really does make you feel better. I actually feel less depresed when I have worked out.

the original pincho 02.24.2010 12:15 PM

I can't run no five minute mile. I think I ran 81/2 minute miles during my half marathon.

Glice 02.24.2010 12:47 PM

I did a half marathon last year in just under 2 hours. I quite enjoyed the training, but I really wasn't into it on the day of the race. I've signed up for a 10k in a few months, but I've been training so much lately. I like running, but I find 'runners' exceptionally irritating.

I'm more of a rambler than a runner. Though I've been known to do "a runner" when it's my round in a pub or bar.

Love the row of KoRn avatars earlier on in this thread.
