would you share it with us here? and maybe proper file and not youtube link???

thanks for info.

_tunic_ 11.29.2013 05:18 AM

thanks! I'll try to remember to watch this. It's a real nice program, Cat Power was on it last year or so. And I think you could watch it online for some time afterwards, but can't find a link for it anymore right now.
The artist of the week is presented a book with adverts of cultural events which will take place the coming year in Belgium and all over the world as well (musea, concerts, plays, whatever), and he's to pick out his favourites and tells stories about them. Something like that.

_tunic_ 12.11.2013 02:54 PM

already posted this somewhere else, then remembered there was a thread about this already:

Lee Ranaldo - De Canvasconnectie, Documentary, December 8, 2012 (PAL-DVD) (Sonic Youth)

above is the Dime link, you can also stream here it online for probably a limited time
And direct links for the other links on that page:
- list of the music played(that's an awefully long list for a 30 minutes show...)
- overview of Lee's selection

i cannot stream it anymore. can you?

only halfway through on the torrent and it seems standstill at the mom.

_tunic_ 12.12.2013 06:55 PM

there's only a 35 second stream, I didn't pay attention to that, I assumed it would be the full thing. Not sure if it ever was.
Here's another interview with Lee by Belgian magazine HUMO:

Google translate if you want to read it in English ;)

Straap will be back to complete seeding the DVD, he's not someone to leave his PC on overnight.

According to my µTorrent, I completed the download over four hours ago. Now I'm seeding it like a motherfucker.

_tunic_ 12.13.2013 05:22 PM

Here are some WeTransfer links for the non-Dimers. They'll expire on 20 December:
Lee Ranaldo - De Canvasconnectie, Documentary, December 8, 2013.zip.001 (part 1 of 2) (1,07 GB)
Lee Ranaldo - De Canvasconnectie, Documentary, December 8, 2013.zip.002 (part 2 of 2) (981 MB)

You'll need to download both parts, then use e.g. 7zip to extract.
I took the liberty of correcting the date in filenames and info file, because the year said 2012. Also created a new checksum. Video files are unchanged.

Enjoy!

7z is similar to other archive files, such as zip and rar, but generally, 7zip has a higher compression ratio to extract the file.
