yeah, a lot.

greedrex 09.04.2009 09:08 AM

yep, I do actually.

SuperCreep 09.04.2009 09:22 AM

Not in the slightest. The past is the past.

Rob Instigator 09.04.2009 09:22 AM

Not when we got R2

joe11121 09.04.2009 01:27 PM

yeah, it's too bad he's gone, but sy still rock without him

notyourfiend 09.04.2009 01:29 PM

yes...so much......

StevOK 09.04.2009 03:37 PM

Sonic Nurse is my favorite SY album of the century so far, so yeah.

Rob Instigator 09.04.2009 03:46 PM

cannot tell the difference actually, except that the Youth ROCK again.

cagedbird 09.04.2009 08:04 PM

His techncal wizardry is missed.

EVOLghost 09.06.2009 12:17 PM

I miss him.

mil_pl 09.06.2009 01:57 PM

he was the best.

Trasher02 09.06.2009 02:19 PM

Hell yes.

Rob Instigator 09.08.2009 03:44 PM

why? what exactly did he bring to sonic youth that make ya miss him so? I don;t see it. All I see is that after he left the Youth re-discovered their long-standing adoration of the sweet rock riff.

mil_pl 09.08.2009 05:12 PM

for awesome space there at sonic nurse fuckin album.

(&& electronics at nyc gf)

by the way where is that photo of him wearing shirt with 'radical non sleeper' thing?

Shifty Prophet 09.08.2009 05:59 PM

I miss the atmospheric lovejunk that dripped off the albums : A Thousand Leaves, NYC G&F, Murray Street, and some of Nurse. As Rob has said, SY still continue to kill shit even though Mr. O'rourke has continued in another direction, but he brought a great compnent to SY, that of experience, innovation and experimentation.

nuplastikk 09.09.2009 06:37 PM

yeah, i unfortunately did miss him with those rotten eggs, tomatoes, and other throwables I brought to the SY shows where he joined in. If it wasn't for his sorry ass, maybe Kim G would be thumping out some solid boomin basslines, instead of playing the uncomfortably dancing lead singer. Marky mark gets a free pass this time around, but Id love to see him booted as well.

I can dig on some Brise-Glace, and he can ride on some SYR thurston solo stuff, but please..just let the fab four rock it on the studio albums.
