It was hilarious. They had the pointiest guitars I have ever seen.

i doubt they can top slayer or morbid angel, i might see them if i like the new album, i like the one before a lot. yeah, bc rich basically gives them all the guitars they discard because of "involuntary impalment"

HaydenAsche 10.06.2006 02:29 PM

There are incredibly few bands I'd pay 30 bucks for.
Radiohead
At The Drive-in Reunion
the Smiths Reunion
Devo
Cat Power

Savage Clone 10.06.2006 02:29 PM

When I saw them they were playing on the same bill with Morbid Angel.
I had a pretty great time.

I might come to that. Xiu Xiu is that night but I can go to Walker afterwards. I'm going to do nothing but go to shows that entire weekend. Shall be fun.

i always pay $30 aprox. or more, most being international acts.

i've seen morbid angel twice, both times they were incredible. the first time was when i was 13 and it was like my 3th show ever and the first real underground was, it was held at a small wrestling place and they came with only one guitarist and they were still the heaviest, i saw them last year and they just as good as ten years before, even with trey doing his whitesnake video poses.

ratatat are also coming next week but i'm not sure also, they anounced free drink for that one, so...

I agree with the first 3 of those 5. I would pay 30+ for a lot. but I also live with my mom so I can get money for something if i ask. Very rarely do I get to go to a "concert" though. And lately, "shows" that I can go to have been few and far between (ie, the last one i can remember was...um.... pre-SY, Aug.8.)

black dice have canceled their gig... but the skaters will play instead, pretty cool. i think the skaters are already in finland, they'll be here for a month or so...
