i was briefly in a band called christ the band as a tribute, we did 3 crusty ass songs and broke up.

Crass is great. Very underappreciated on this board, maybe underappreciated in general except amongst us tuff punx.

crass is one of my favorites undoubtedly. the feeding of the 5000 i still listen to constantly. christ the album is amazing too. great lyrics, great sounds, great ideas, great motto. penny rimbaud is a genius.

i was listening to christ the album just this morning, was thinking how i haven't listened to it in a while.

yeah, they were great. i don't agree with much of their politics but i really admire their commitment.

and speaking of crass records, the zounds were fantastic.

I remember (S)way being a big fan. I suppose I'd consider them 'important' rather than 'best'. Not a band I'd listen to much for pleasure.
