The only Broadcast album I ever heard was the one with "Come On Let's Go". I liked it. I should get some Broadcast.

damn going for the 90's indie emo and metalcore. i used to love cave in. until your heart stops was my favorite. that album brings back good memories. i was a big fan of "diary" by sdre.

Welcome to 90% of my last week. So much Los Crudos despite not knowing what the hell they are saying. Also, Diary is great too, might have to give that another spin tomorrow.

i still give los crudos a spin sometimes. check out limp wrist if you like them. it's the singers all gay hardcore band.

i would just give it to you, but it's still at my house in florida.

check out the band the swarm. they were my favorite hardcore band of the late 90's. also, reversal of man and trial. trial may be a little too much with their political preachyness and their straight edge.

No. It's reworking of parts of the Eraserhead soundtrack plus an homage to the soundtrack of Assault on Precinct 13. There's also a version of a traditional German song calle Lorelei.

It's pretty creepy sounding, and I'm really gutted that I can't find my copy.

You can listen to it here: http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2008/1...rpers-era.html

It certainly sounds like he's used part of the Assault on Precinct 13 soundtrack in his version. My favourite is 'Im Himmel' which is his reworking of the 'Lady in the Radiator' song from Eraserhead.

I'm not sure if there's much of a back story to it's release, I just remember it being a record that any self respecting 'Industrialist' had to own in the early 80's. That and EN's 'Thirsty Animal'

viewtiful_alan 12.17.2008 07:52 AM

Is there any album that has the lady in the radiator's song on it?

Ahhh. The soundtrack album is available all over the place. The record under discussion is a 12" single. Sorry for the confusion.

BTW - Overnite Sensation. Great album.
