I'm gonna have to upload some stuff soon, 'cause I'm only taking and not giving.
I've been warned. :D

atari 2600 01.18.2007 03:04 PM

Just keep the avatar next to your rank smiling.
You're uploading while you download with p2p BitTorrent sharing.
My guess is that you have a computer with such a fast download speed that it doesn't manage to up very much as you're downloading. Another factor may be the torrent program you use isn't optimal (for sharing back) or that the settings aren't optimized. One easy (you may be doing this already) thing you can also do to improve your share ratio is to keep some heavily trafficked torrents that are sharing back at a high bitrate open for at least a few days after downloading.

I stopped "hot-linking" thinking it may cause problems. I think they also specify in the rules that you credit the seeder if you post the links elsewhere. I know, it's a pain a bit, but you know how, well, let's just say "adamant" those mods are over there about rules.
I'll consider your last post a guinea pig.

Oh boy, and '89 The Fall FM from 8/29/89 that are not in the Complete Peel Sessions box. All the official The Fall studio Peel Sessions, are, of course, there, but this was a special performance for John's 50th birthday at The Subterranean in London.
There's been at least a hundred really worthwhile ones that I never did list in this thread since it started.
yltfan, who has seeded SY before, put up (Of Montreal - 2/07/07 Wonder Ballroom Portland, OR sbd x2) a notable new one yesterday.

That Pavement is a reseed from one of their earliest outings. They sound like ass on that one if I remember.

They sound especially good on this one and have some accompaniment too

I came inadvertently came across some earlier Miles with 'Trane radio ones from '58 and '58 that look great and I almost missed them; thanks so much for pointing me in a good direction this morning, greenlight.

Thanks for that note about it being the Glyn Johns mix. The same material is known as the Let it Be outtakes or the Beatles Black Album, and there's one called The Complete Rooftop Concert.

You're a large-hearted boy! I recognize the way the link is notated hehee. There was an audio torrent for this recently. Pretty good, although what sounds like most of the crowd are extremely talkative for the first few songs. Then, R.E.M. finally really gets their attention, winning them over for the rest of the show. This was, of course, right before the band decided to record in the UK for Fables.

Oh, I just found this in the info file of the audio recording:
Quote:

Unbelievably there is a video recording (now on DVD of course) of this show, but beware, the band are partially obscured by pillar.
