Last count was over 10 years ago, and I'd been to a good 150 shows by then. I think anyone who can provide a list is either too young or doesn't go to enough shows, a fact easily resolved by going to more shows. Assuming there's 50-odd shows in Herr Friends' list, I can think of a single band I've seen more often than he has in total.

I go to a show at least every other week, and this thread is daunting, and there will be forgotten shows, but take a shot in the dark, its a nostalgia thread so please:

You misunderstand - by the time I was 17, 10 years ago, I had been to at least 150 shows, and probably a lot more.

Be that as it may, my point stands - it's all about live music. Unless it's about recorded music, obviously.

You saw that Grouch Zioni tour too? it was decent BUT i thought the Grouch had a fucking attitude problem and I was thinking 'hey, motherfucker you did Invisible Man and now you gonna switch it on us?' but whatever. I don't usually go to hip hop shows, I do regret missing Kool Keith and also an e-40 show I had free tickets to..

i think they've done a bunch of tours, like it was probably two years ago, the album had been out quite a while before the tour
i like grouch better than zion-i but zion was a much stronger live performer,but it was halloween and grouch was dressed as a pharoah

And altleast that many local bands. In the 70's it was fast money fast life style. I was out partying every nite. Hell I didn't even have a serious romance until I was 27...

I might not argue with you there, but I still thought they sucked. It was a free show opening for a free Ziggy Marley show at the Santa Monica Pier. I did not enjoy either sets.
