ok just questions. in the start of burning spear, how does thurston rub the drumstick on the other one? where the strings are or just the stick?

and what does he do in the endign?

I'm not really sure what he does for the ending, but I know it doesn't REALLY matter. Pretty much anything that you hear on something on a SY song is luck, just a combination of the signal, effects, and whatever harmonics choose to fuck with note they're a part of.

he places one stick behind the strings at 12th fret and then hits upper and lower side of it with another one. not sure about the ending, i think he sort of slides the stick behind the strings.
