It was lile a 19 year old guy who wrote and directed the film. He wrote it in a 36 hour stint or whatever, after a failed suicide attempt himself. It's made on a low budget and it's very reminiscent of Gus Van Sants Elephant. But for such a low budget, and an unknown cast, it reaches the heights of Elephant. It's really a powerful film.

I mean, you might not like it, but I think it's a film worth checking out.

I think it was "Igby Goes Down" some nights ago at like 4am.
or maybe "Kurt & Courtney" at 6am ( I stayed up till 6am to watch it because I had already watched it but it was a download and I'd rather watch it on the tv once.)
I tried watching "Bully" for the third time in my life last night. But my sister is ALWAYS around when that movie is on. It really bothers me. I think I'll never see it.

Children of Men

I watched The Good Shepard (2005) last night. Found it a little too long (167min), but it has a good cast with a nice slow pace to it.
Worth watching.

ps: Didn't like Angelina Jolie at all. I don't know why, but she always irritates the shit out of me.

Just watched The Quiet Earth, which I realized upon watching I'd seen before a long time ago. A good low budget NZ science fiction flick.

That was a cool series.

I watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 a couple days ago and loved it, just as I did the first time I saw it. It's so damn funny haha. Next time I see it I'll buy it if I have the cash.
Then yesterday I watched Land of the Dead. Nothing beats a good zombie movie.
Later tonight I may put on Thank You for Smoking.
