While I do think they've released some great records, I agree No Code is a motherfucker of a record. I think a lot of people overlook it because it didn't really have a big single, or the PJ fans who hate it listen to Sometimes and think it doesn't so good so that means the rest of the album is by association terrible.

Definitely one of my favorites ever.

how can you begin to presume what other people think?

i loved PJ when i was young but never bought anything after Vs. Then last year i re-bought ten and vs. on cd and realized that they were actualy shite. bits of vs. were ok but as a whole it was gash.

it was like finding out father christmas wasn't real. or that christy didn't actually fancy me after all. gutted.

Sure, Eddie Vedder is a non-rockstar the likes of which we haven't seen since Michael Stipe, but they wrote some great songs, and are ya'll forgetting that Eddie Vedder was t he one who was imitated....?
For the record I would eliminate every peral jam record and song if it meant we could be rid of Nickelback and creed.

Uhmmm.... Because people on the Given to Wail and Red Mosquito forums (The two largest PJ forums) both have said in threads how they hate Sometimes (For how slow it is) and how they couldn't listen to the rest of the record because of it? So I'm not really presuming but rather putting out their thoughts.

ten, well lemmie tell ya about ten...it bores the shit out of me. maybe bescause almost every song on it has been played on rock radio since it was released.. my fav. song off ten would probally have to be "once" though, just for the record.

really enjoed live on two legs for a minute.



I HATED pearl jam as i kid. they bored the shit out of me. i find 'em a bit more tolerable the older i get...guess im just not a pissed of/angsty teen anymore.
