A very very dissapointing rewatch. I had much fonder memories of this movie that turned out to be a bit unfounded. They tried to cram way too complicated a plot into way too short an amount of time, which not only led to confusion during the movie, but a sort of indifference at the end. The animation is fantastic., but most of the other elements dissapointed me.

you should try the 2 tv series they made with it. pretty fucking good. tachikomas FTW.

yeh, Bruce Campbell is the cop at the end. He's only in it for less than a minute. Which is funny that he gets top billing ("what more can I say...?")

I loved it. I still want an in depth look at his discography and work though. I'll probalby have to wait some time for that though.

Agreed. Thought it was excellent as far as early life, etc goes. But yeah, I'd love a docu about his music. I was impressed that they actually spent time on Hot Boys, and even mentioned DEDICATION 2. So that was nice. Also... um... 10,000 BARS???? What the F??? He needs to put that out!

re-watched clerks - 8/10 classic

Watched clerks ii for the first time. Probably a 4/10. Completely soulless, heartless, boring, not charming or interesting or witty or funny. So awkward and bad, lazy and awful writing, didn't laugh one time. Really annoying. The music was really distracting and bad (the first one had Jesus Lizard and Girls Against Boys on the soundtrack!). Only worth seeing, maybe, for a few minutes, because Rosario Dawson wears glasses.
