theyre virtually impossible to find in stores, which is a crime. ive never found any of their records anywhere besides amazon and ebay. not even insound has their stuff. i dont get why hugely influential bands like sun city girls, flipper, hanatarash, etc.. is so hard to find anywhere. even fall-hex enducation is virtuallly out of print.

well if you are in the boston area in the near future then twisted village in cambrige carries some of their recently rereleased albums. and dinamite records in northampton carries a few of their 90s output. they also have grotto of miricales for 40-60$ on vinyl. it was beautiful to see that...

most of flipper's discography is out of print because rick rubin holds the rights to all their studio shit and he got into an argument with them, he's basically taking the masters hostage, but according to billboard, they will be reissued this year.

hex enduction is pretty easy to find, i've seen it plenty, even the vinyl reish.

THE BROTHERS UNCONNECTED
A Tribute to Charles Gocher & Sun City Girls
Most dates will feature an opening 40 minute film of Charles Gocher's video experiments followed by two sets of music. AB and RB will be performing Sun City Girls songs as an acoustic guitar duet. This tour will most likely be the only time this show will be presented as such and is a tribute both to Charles Gocher and selected music from the 27 year legacy of Sun City Girls. West Coast dates begin in May. All other US and Canada dates begin in June. A full list of shows will be presented here as they are confirmed.

This is really good news. This seems a very appropriate way for them to bid Charlie and the band goodbye instead of just becoming silent after his death.

After careful consideration, I'm thinking "Box of Chameleons" might be their defining work. 128 amazing songs!
