Another new Organs of Battle track

Some of you asked for 'long form'.

Does 25 minutes fit the bill?

Feedback appreciated.

Thanks.

I appreciate your pioneering spirit!:)

I like it. It's well recorded and would work wonders as a soundtrack in a sci-fi movie.
The camera click caught me off-guard, though. :-)

Camera click? How far in was that?

surely yr not a big enough geek for "organs of battle" to be inspired by the Adepta Sororitas - Exorcism tank.

it's the only organ of battle I know of...unless you mean trough-fighting...

either way...will download asap.

You're forgetting that the band was named in 1983 - long before the Adepta Sororitas existed, although it looks like an impressive vehicle.:)

When we were asked where the name came from we gave alternate answers - either 'its the name of a keyboard shop on the south coast of england' or ' it's a subtitle in Louis Bunuels surrealist movie L'age D'or'

Both were true at the time but the keyboard shop no longer exists.

Downloading as we speak.
Florya never disappoints, plus the files are always hi-fidelity.

Glice 06.01.2009 01:27 PM

I immediately assumed it was some sort of riposte to Deleuze's 'war machine is not state apparatus', you know, conflating the BwO with all this nomadic space. Quite appropriate for a band, I'd imagine. [Edit: this was towards the post immediately preceding Herr Clone's]

Anyway. Downloading as we speak.

All I ask is that you give it a proper listen - right through to the end.

There's no surprise ending or anything like that, but the length of the track is as important as it's content.

Nope. My mistake. Just listened the whole thing again and I can't find it.
Probably hit a key on my laptop by accident.

Glice 06.01.2009 03:34 PM

Tokolosh, did you get your signature from an Absolut Vodka advert?

Florya - I listened, and I liked. I'll some something more constructive when I've listened again.

Tokolosh 06.01.2009 03:46 PM

No. nothing to do with the Swedes.

I'm just happy that you think it merits a second hearing!:)

Tokolosh 06.01.2009 03:53 PM

Played it through my stereo the second time round and it sounds way better.

There's quite a lot of 'hidden' bass that only shows itself when played through speakers ;)

Florya 06.04.2009 03:57 AM
