I dunno how to explain what really attracts me by their music, its really mid-tempo, its mellow. but I think they can create one of the best emotioncreating melodies Ive ever heard. I like to compare them on that base to SY. some of their melodies evoke the same reaction at least by me. for me they are managed to pump machines full of feelings and let them express it :)

im listening to jay reatard for the first time right now. the seesaw single. i scoffed upon this guy for a while, well dont i look like the asshole. this is some hooktastic newwaveish garage power punk/pop songs. tons of power chords with melodic guitar lines, very good, well above average anyways. better than i thought it was gona be.
