Sounds familiar. I did that about a year ago when the record store called to tell me my vinyl copies of The Modern Lovers were in. I ran from work to the store to my car, drove home, called in sick, and had a time.

This just in: gmku was just handed a check for a small monetary award for job well done in workplace. gmku was last seen making mad dash for bank en route to record store.
