A band you actually enjoy hating.
 

Not one that you simply don't like, but one that gives you some kind of weird thrill in totally loathing.

Mine is The Doors, or perhaps more specifically Jim Morrison. The true epitome of the tortured artist = boring self-obsessed asshole. Im reminded of this loathing everytime I meet a Doors fan - surely the most smug, boring species ever to breath.

black eyed peas. i truly hate them all and the mere sight of them makes my blood boil.

Leave the Doors alone, he said smugly with an air that would surely bore every other species.

The Doors were fucking great. If you don't get them, don't knock them. You just haven't evolved enough yet to appreciate them.

For me: I vehemently dislike the TV-made Supernova band. An easy target. But I can't think of any band I hate. Hate is a strong word, young man.

But do you actually get a weird pleasure out of hating Muse?

The guy who played piano for the Stones? I didn't know he was a writer, too.

I hate Frantz Ferdinand. This band sucks. Like every post-New Wave bands.

there are too many bands to dislike. i really dont like a lot of bands in leeds they all cant think of their own songs so they emulate others. thats why the termite club is so great.

Oasis, gives the wrong impression of the english........

I view the Moldy Peaches as a sort of "suck barometer," but I don't know that I actually enjoy hating them. I would certainly have been happier had I never heard them or even heard of them, but to enjoy hating a band requires that band's presence, and I guess I would actually be a happier person in a world without music that awful in it.

I fucking HATE HATE HATE HATE the SMASHING PUMPKINS> I take great pleasure in deriding them, their fans, their "music" their fucking ridiculously stupid band members, the troglodyte D'arcy (so artsy fartsy she has an apostrphe in her name like some sort of lovecraftian gargoyle), and dipshit fucking james Iha with his bullshit stupid fucking solo record. what a fucking waste of human breath. this is the band I take joy and pleasure in pummeling. if i ever run into Billy Corgan i will kick him in the neck with my steeltoes and laugh laugh laugh as he chokes on his frothy phlegmy blood and i will yell in his face "This one's for PAVEMENT BITCH!"
