This is seriously a great track... For all of those who diss The Offspring, you can't ignore that Smash is a classic of its genre. The thing with that kind of album is that when you were so into it, it seemed so flawless... I could listen to it for hours, just love every track and care about nothing else. It's a rare feeling nowadays... |

even as a huge Ween fan, I find this album reaallly uneven and tough to take as a whole. Especially the reissue. Here's my thoughts: GodWeenSatan - 2/5 The Pod - 3/5 Pure Guava - 4/5 Chocolate & Cheese - 5/5 12 Golden Country Greats - 3/5 The Mollusk - 5/5 Craters Of The Sac - 2/5 Painting The Town Brown - 3/5 White Pepper - 5/5 Live In Toronto Canada - 3/5 Live At Stubbs - 4/5 Quebec - 3/5 All Requests Live - 4/5 Live In Chicago - 3/5 Shinola Vol 1 - 3/5 Friends EP - ?/5 (didnt get it yet) La Cucaracha - ?/5 (didnt get it yet) At The Cat's Cradle - ?/5 (didnt get it yet) |
Choclate and cheese is tha shit maybe the aids song should have been my creapiest
Honestly the last one I have is parts of craters in the sac...think istarted focusing nore on Sonic youth and the doors obsession I had during that time period |
you don't have The Mollusk? OMG.. honestly I could be happy with just C&C and The Mollusk alone. IT'S LIKE WEEN'S PINK FLOYD ALBUM!!! Get it.
|
I got the Mollusk its the last one I actually purchased. Everything they released after that I snatched bits and pieces of off of limewire. I agreee it is a ween masterpiece. Ryan used to listen to the country hits album alot
now im up shit creek with a turd for a paddle |

White Pepper is really good too SG. It's like a survey of rock. There's metal songs, ballads, progrock, synthpop, Beatlespop, JimmyBuffetcrap, newageinterlude, etc.

3.5/5 Its what you'd expect, and maybe a little better. But 5 mics? Nah |
I think that's how I always feel about Bun. It's just "good," but not memorable.

A long time ago, there was this big flood in that great mississippi delta, and a lot of people became so sad that those flood waters started coming out of their eyes....and they wrote some of the most amazing music ever, And then, that music had a baby...r'n'r...and then, there was some happy mediums going on.
(not totally historically accurate, but it may as well be) God bless the MC5 for this, seriously....one of the most beautiful tunes I've ever heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwDI90oXOBU night, everyone. |
