DRIFT
is a multimedia performance by Lee Ranaldo and Leah Singer in corporating their work since 1991. The dvd release on Plexifilm consists of a studio recording of DRIFT at the GAS space in News York.

On November 24th 2006 Lee and Leah performed DRIFT at Kunstencentrum België - Hasselt, Belgium. With the aid of Small Cities, four of us shot the whole performance that night. Small Cities edited the whole work with a DRIFT LIVE DVD as a result. The DVD concentrates mainly on the performance of both artists (hence the live aspect).
The master of the dvd is currently sent to Lee Ranaldo. For further developments check this site or check the smallcities website - link at the interests section.

if this is what I saw (bits of pieces), so it's something different - big time. It should be basicly Lee's performance of Drift from Holland (4 cams!)!!!

o'connor 05.15.2008 05:48 PM

That's such a strangely awesome picture.

Definitely can't wait either.

I confess that I don't get Drift. I have tried twice...

Someone shed some light...

Weird weird thread. The pictures above have nothing to do with the live dvd I'm talking about. The first pic is from the official DRIFT dvd on Plexifilm. The picture from Lee and Leah is googled.

I simply wanted to let in via my myspace page about this stuff we've (edit: I mean Small Cities) been working on for quite some time. You'll know more soon.

There will be more info concerning this dvd, i promise.
Of course asking to be patient when you're waiting since 2004 is a bit much i guess :)

Don't expect a release, just the possibility of checking it out.
