just a weird summer all around,

DC was a whole extravaganza for 24 hours

caught some virus or cold after walking two miles from downtown Atlanta to the venue that last over a month

a panic attack during the Seattle show

sleeping on a hardwood floor after the Portland show which was the best on the tour

bumped into Thurston at some St Marks bookstore, while up for the brooklyn shows, which by the way it is fucking hell trying to find your way around queens, they should tear up all the streets and make it a real grid

jennthebenn 09.29.2006 11:59 PM

an amazing summer, however. seattle is a great city. naomi being
our host helped too. remember when i almost yelped out like a stepped-on
puppy when they played "the world looks red" at the first brooklyn show?
yeah...summer nights.

It's fantastic when these things happen and it's actually recorded by someone...! just brilliant.

Jon Spencer once wrapped his hands around my neck and proceeded to choke me while screaming in my face with unbridled fervor "Blues Explosion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he got really carried away until he realised what he was doing, he then let go of me and hastily backed off... I was left standing there thinking shit did that really happen or did I just hallucinate...as far as I know it wasn't filmed... it was in 1995... long before the mobile phone video recording revolution.

krastian 10.01.2006 12:57 AM
