I don't get it.

I downloaded a few years worth of Festive Fifties awhile ago. I'm gonna go listen to that.

They must have been taken offline this morning.

Here's a list of shows that were available prior to the Soundcloud uploads, there was some new shows uploaded to Soundcloud by +dB and those are going to be added to the list I've provided...

Is it possible to listen to or download the shows on here?

Great, thanks Stu! Now that I have large storage space, I'll try to download as many of those shows as possible and spend the rest of my life listening to old John Peel shows.

yes, it's not the most user friendly site but most of the shows can be downloaded. I don't think you have to be a member but I might be wrong.

for example: search for the year of the show you're after, then scroll down and you will see links for all the shows from that year. click on the one that you want then scroll down again and look under the "Available" heading. left click to listen (If it's on the mooo server you need to enter a user name and password. User: peel Password: group) or right click to save as.

Ah what a shame, my boss at work has had us listening to one of the late 70s ones yesterday "I used to listen to this when i was doing up my car!" He was happy as larry. Thanks for the link to the download Stu.
