Less than 1% more of the US-Mexico border is walled than was in 2016. Regardless of the motives, he's absolutely failed at what was the one most high profile election promise he made.

Yeah, but at least Mexico is paying for it.

Oh....wait.....

(How do the Trumpists square that one? I'm genuinely curious. But not curious enough to unignore them all.)

Well, YES, this has been his "plan" from the start and we all knew it. Trump (via nuts-as-fuck propaganda) and McConnell (through his extraordinary power in Congress - yet another stain in the U.S. system) have set the stage so that even an Electoral College win by Biden may not be enough because mail-in ballots are being thrown away like a motherfucker.

The Republican party has utterly abandoned any intention, shit, any pretense of trying to convince the electorate that their policies are better than Democratic ones. Because they have no policies anymore, only Trump. So their reasoning is, OK, we start with 40+ percent or summat, let's get whatever else we need by gerrymandering, appointing ultraconservative judges, and oh yeah, sending some goons with GUNS to polling stations.

I'm hoping for the best, fearing the absolute worst.

I don't even see the GOP as a political party anymore. They are an Insurgency. They crossed that threshold when they picked Trump. There is no "but both sides do it" argument when it comes to voter suppression. The GOP knows that if everyone votes, they don't stand a chance.

Fucking old white guy sports "heroes" (Orr, Nicklaus, Fauvre) endorsing Trump. WTF is wrong with these people?

Texas Supreme Court rejects Republican-led effort to throw out nearly 127,000 Harris County votes

I don't think Texas is going to tilt the election, but I'll take a good sign when I see one.

Piggies!! (How's that Bytor - Hunter Biden - NY Post - Giuliani thing working out?)

Get this:

"Now, just imagine if you can. Donald Trump sitting in the Oval Office, the next time America faces a crisis. Imagine him being in charge when your jobs and savings are at stake. Is this who you want to lead us in an emergency? Someone thin skinned and quick to anger who’d likely be on Twitter attacking reporters or bringing the whole regulatory system down on his critics when he should be focused on fixing what’s wrong? Would he even know what to do?"

I know that even a lot of Dems hate Hillary Clinton, but she sure had it right when she said this in 2016, didn't she?

i don’t hate hillary, but she’s anticharismatic—nevertheless she’s smart and often right; just a failure of style.

Yesterday I saw a fragment on the news where Trump said during one of his speeches something in the lines of "if you want to be treated with respect, vote for Trump ". Then I read this:

Quote from a Dutch press article, highlighting by me:

Quote:

'Be ready'

President Donald Trump's campaign manager, meanwhile, has called on his supporters to be ready for protests. That is reported by The Washington Post, which obtained an audio recording that shows the statements.

"Stand by," says campaign chief Bill Stepien. "We may need your assistance at short notice in demonstrations in your states to ensure that the president's side is represented." Stepien also states that “demonstrations to show support for the president” are also encouraged. For example, they have to wave flags. He also called on people to make a financial contribution towards the legal costs of the campaign, which has gone to court in several states.

Money for "lawsuits" also for debt

Despite the electoral defeat of US President Donald Trump, the Republican campaign team continues to call on its supporters to donate to litigation against the results. However, the fine print of those calls shows that the money also serves to pay off campaign debts.

An email sent by his team on Saturday afternoon (local time) stated: “The blatant electoral fraud in corrupt Democrat-ruled cities is unprecedented. The Left has proven that there is nothing it will not do to take the power of the American people. ”

The letter was sent on behalf of Trump. “If they are after me, they are really after you and everything you stand for. These elections are not over yet. We still have a long way to go and I need to know that I can count on you. ” When the user clicks on a link in the email, they are directed to a website stating that Trump is putting together a "task force" to defend the election.

The site proposes donations of between $ 5 and $ 2,800, or any amount of your choice. Whoever scrolls down will see in the fine print the information that 60 percent of contributions go to an account used to pay off campaign debts.

So he's now fooling his own supporters by letting them pay for his campaign instead of the lawsuits!!?? Asking money from folks with regular incomes by a millionaire is already insane!
