had a jvc 8mm cam from 1991 to 1996. suddenly broke out. had a jvc minidisc from 2000 to 2003 which started to have glitches and then broke out. had a jvc minidv cam which lasted from 2001 to 2006, and today it suddenly died on me and i had yet to upload a few vids on my fucking pc.

i don't see why you are complaing, you had YEAR runs with most of your stuff, i mean, if you bought it and it broke down within a 6 months or a year, well that's shitty.

it's just modern technology/product cycles.

if those companies made better equipment they would make marginally less money. this is one of the reasons I refuse to buy an i-pod

my sharp minidisc is undestructible.it even fell in a water filled thub (don't ask me why) and from the stairs a couple time (field recordings while drunk is a no-no on stairs) and from 2000 till now it's still working.
never had any jvc equipment,and now i'm glad for that.
