Dim Sum, Sushi, or Tapas?

Dim Sum (yamucha), Sushi, or Tapas?
Well - I'm definitely a Dim Sum fan. I really dig Chinese culture and going out for Dim Sum on a weekend morning has some great social aspects to it as well.

uhler 07.31.2008 12:16 PM

sushi

pbradley 07.31.2008 12:16 PM

Dim Sum.

Sushi is expensive and tapas is bar food.

i love dim sum as a brunch substitute but my local sushi beats the local dim sum AND i love raw fish with maybe a bit too much passion. additionally, tapas are great for boozing up (as is in fact sushi). so-- why discriminate? a time & a place for all 3.

davenotdead 07.31.2008 12:41 PM

sushi.

Undoubtedly, but option dim sum occurs more often than the other two. In fact I still haven't found anyone to go drink and eat tapas with me even after that one thread of mine.

well sure youre in san francisco wehre there's no lack of chinese restaurants.

chinese restaurants in albuquerque are just meh, but you can find good cheap tapas here & there.

in dc its harder-- jaleo has AWESOME tapas but you can have dim sum oh in so many places as well..

anyway my point is-- choosing is hard-- and i'm lazy.

pbradley 07.31.2008 01:05 PM

ha

I can get more dim sum than I can eat for five bucks. Shit is ridiculously awesome.

terriblecanyons 07.31.2008 01:05 PM

Yeah, especially when the economy is so low, the word 'hiring' is considered no longer used
