Friday & yesterday I got on a The Cars kick (because I haven't listened to them in so long) & put on every one of their albums in a row while playing other stuff too (which is why it took 2 days to make it through the 6 studio albums, the greatest hits & the s/t demos & outtakes (which is nice too))

Once again, atari coming through with an A+ list of music.

Why can't I get into Cat Power? I must be defective.

pretty much, the only cat power i like is the greatest and the songs crossbone style and her cover of thurston's psychic hearts.

Anyone else love God Ween Satan?

For some reason, after Mollusk, Ween sort of dropped off my radar. I was a bit disappointed in White Pepper, and after that I kind of backlogged them.

Those first two Ween albums are great. I used to see them all the time back then. I kinda lost interest when they started being more serious, even though they are still great musicians.
They were a rare exception to my "funny music is stupid" rule.

I began to hate them subconsciously when Reggae Junkie Jew kept getting stuck in my head on a regular basis. It still does to this day. I'm going to burn Pure Guava in some attempt at sacrificial purging.
