LOW's new album, "Double Negative" will be released by Sub Pop Records on September 14th, 2018, and is now available to pre-order as CD, LP, cassette tape or digital download from Sub Pop Megamart and/or Bandcamp:

After the mysterious short videos on Instagram during the last few days, now there has appeared a sort of movie containg the videos for new songs off the new album "Quorum, "Dancing and Blood" and "Fly" on Youtube, and Chairkickers.

European tour dates have been announced.

I don't think I'll like this album though, too much fiddling. Same as Drums & Guns. Loved those songs live, but hardly ever listen to the album versions.

It seems this will be a controversial album, as "Drums And Guns" was on its day, adding bleeps, distortion and noisy elements to a sound that it's perhaps much more loved at their most organic.

According to LOW (I gather my perspective from the Bandcamp text that accompanies the pre-order info), the sound on this album is intended to reflect the current state of The United States of America, and the songs should function as well as statements and salves regarding the current times. "Drums And Guns" came from a similar sensibility, actually.
