Now, Now "Threads"
I actually am really digging this, its like some super pop shoegaze, almost like what would have happened if the dreampop scene had spawned in the mid-2000s era of pop music instead of the 1990s. The "Glee" feel is kind of campy, but they are from Minneapolis so.... I just like the sound of this record, especially that last few songs. If St Vincent kind of music was just a touch edgier on the guitar work like this is I could dig it so much more.. |
