oh, those cables are rca (stereo) to miniplug (computer input) adapter

if the turntable has a preamp, you can jack it directly. if it hasn't (or if it's turned off) you can connect it from your amp's "tape out" jacks. in other words, the puter takes the place of the ancient cassette deck.
