stupid fucking Gossip Girl

Every single time I do a search for Sonic Youth Gossip the fucking Google auto-corrects it to "Sonic Youth Gossip Girl" and shows me clips of that STUPID SHIT.

I fucking hate it. HATE IT.

Hm, would think they would have more of an association with Gilmore Girls, seeing as how they actually appeared on an episode of that show.

They played Starpower on Gossip Girl and Kim married a couple https://youtu.be/GKeScyZ4muM

Hahahaha. In a very amusing coincidence, this was posted on the same day a lot of those silly celebrity "news" aggregate sites are posting articles about a new Gossip Girl reboot, and the reactions caused. A very large part of me was hoping to click into the thread and find a fun Rob post about that reboot...

In fact, wasn't it said somewhere that they Gilmore Girl's appearance happening due to Coco being a fan of the show? Was the Gossip Girl appearance essentially for the same reason, anyone know?

https://youtu.be/A2k38JkLbxM The almost acoustic starpower version. Dunno, I think they just like the show/the idea of participating in a tv show, Thurston rcorded also a version of Sheena is a punk rocker for another episode. I don’t mind at all, I like to have more stuff to listen from a band I like even if I don’t really care about the show it’s featured in.

Beside, Rob: just turn off autocomplete for google searches or bookmark the forum so it ‘s the first suggestion, takes less time than a google search. And the advanced search of this forum actually works really well, if used properly, in case you were searching for a specific thread or something else on here.

I sure as fucking shit hope not. Gossip Girl was pap, nothing, bullshit; Gilmore Girls, on the other hand, was one of the best, most subversive television shows ever.

They actually appeared on the Gossip Girl caca too. All in all, I have to say that even though that was wretched, it gave us that lovely acoustic version of "Starpower" which you can buy from the official SY store, something that didn't happen with their Coco-assisted rendition of "What A Waste" from Gilmore Girls.

Incidentally, Amy Sherman-Palladino rules everything. Just sayin'.

Google is downright stupid. Every time I enter "sonic" it gives me "the hedgehog".

More to the point, I once clicked on a story about how Frances Bean Cobain's douchebag ex-husband had kept the guitar Kurt used on the Unplugged sesh. After that, whenever I open Google News, under the "For You" section they offer me moronic stories about Stella McCartney, Gene Simmons' daughter, Whitney Houston's daughter...
