Violent Femmes- The Blind Leading the Naked

Amazing album. I bought it today and it really is an amazing album. Can't stop listening to it.

S/T is better.

Well, I never heard anything from them. It was on sell 3.99 so I decided to take it. And I must say I am impress, found my next band to dissect.

Get their first one! The soundtrack to any awkward teenage life.

Honestly, I think the second one, Hallowed Ground is the very best. The first one is more successful on a universal pop level, and it is a classic. The second, however, is even darker and more mature at the same time.

Blind Leading the Naked is o.k., their last worthwhile album. I interviewed Brian Ritchie and the drummer on that tour.

Don't know, it just happens.

Add It Up is a really good collection. And Add it Up is pretty much my favorite song by them.

I have the alternate cover version of this album, signed, no less, by Brian, Gordon and Victor.

I just had to gloat. :/

I don't know that any of these records have aged terribly well.

Not even Hallowed Ground? It feels pretty timeless to me.

Savage Clone 03.27.2008 02:24 PM

If I had to listen to one of them, that would be the one, but I think I have had enough cumulative Femmes to last me the rest of my days.
