oh look, foreverasskiss is complaining again.

louder 03.03.2013 06:23 AM

you only have negative things to say all the time. do you even like anything besides the Velvet Underground?

louder 03.03.2013 09:11 AM

lol, always so bitter.

you're my dude. i'm just saying.

louder 03.03.2013 11:38 AM

i'm listening to Twisted Fantasy for the first time in a while. still my #1 album of the decade for sure.

Hell of a Life is such an incredible track. "i think i fell in love with a pornstar, and got married in a bathroom / honeymoon on the dance floor, and got divorced by the end of the night / that's one hell of a life". DAMN.

louder 03.06.2013 08:58 AM

WOLF and 12 Reasons to Die dropping next month. haven't been so excited about new hip-hop releases in a long ass time.

where is NR tho? :(

Earl previews three new songs off his upcoming album Doris. beautiful!

louder 03.08.2013 12:38 PM

he has matured so much. his album is gonna be great!

EDIT: that Mac Miller verse was surprisingly good.

louder 03.09.2013 04:48 AM

asskiss, you gotta hear that new Ghost track which i posted above. trust me, it's sick.

louder 03.10.2013 01:26 PM

recycled verses but still so good.

would've been crazy if Wayne actually joined Roc Nation.

louder 03.11.2013 12:21 PM

new Earl single dropping tomorrow, featuring Tyler.

Applied and interviewed. Not that impressive I don't think, most people here are young. And I'm not sure I'll be here forever. I'd like to write for a variety of publications, but the bennies would be nice. I'll figure it out in December when I have to.

Yeah that song and "Lost in the Woods" pretty much forced me to admit that he is amazing.

I'm back babydoll. We moved and had no internet for a couple weeks.

louder 03.12.2013 05:56 AM

oh, good to see you're back!

i'm just about to check out that new JT album.

louder 03.12.2013 07:58 AM

JT's hooks aren't as catchy and memorable as they used to be. the beats on this album are fire though, Timbo finally proved he still has it in him.

You and I, sir, need to talk.

.

Severian 03.12.2013 07:34 PM

I can't help but enjoy the new JT single, if only because of Jay-Z's cameo.

I can't say for sure, but I feel as though I've sensed some negativity towards Jay-z on this board (or somewhere) lately. Am I imagining that?

I hope I am, because I fucking love Jay-z. Even his shitty song. Songs, like H.O.V.A., which are so early 00's/late '90s, that they bring MTV, no limit soldjaz, and TRL to mind. Even on those tracks, He's brilliant.

And yes, 12 Reasons is going to be Epic. Personally I'm looking forward to WOLF more, but a new Ghostface album always reduces me to a drooling, mindless fanboydom

i love Jay but his verses have been so lazy since Watch the Throne (which was great). Suit & Tie got old to me after a week, probably the most skippable song on JT's new album.

i'm a lil more excited about Doris than WOLF though.

noisereductions 03.13.2013 07:53 PM

yeah def more excited about Doris than Wolf. Earl is awesome.

EVOLghost 03.13.2013 08:02 PM

lol. I know I'm so lazy. I haven't played my PS3 in sooooo long. Hell, I've been playing Third Strike on DC haha.

louder 03.15.2013 07:16 PM

Lil Wayne is in critical condition after multiple seizures. :(

EDIT: probably exaggerated/fake news.

noisereductions 03.15.2013 09:04 PM

dood reports are getting weird and creepy. :(

louder 03.16.2013 04:12 AM

i really have no idea what's going on.

the media more than likely wants him dead just to have that big story.

I Am Not a Human Being 2 should leak in a few days. i checked out the snippets, the first 11 tracks sound good. nothing like the old Weezy, just straight party music, but hey at least it's going to be better than Carter 4. plus i already think the last three songs which dropped (Bitches Love Me, Rich as Fuck & Curtains) are pretty dope.

was still expecting a bit more from this. :( but ah well.

louder 03.18.2013 02:14 PM

Wayne is still in critical condition according to reports. i'm getting really worried at this point. probably my most played artist in the last five years along with Kanye and Jay-Z. can't imagine life without him.

louder 03.18.2013 02:15 PM

"it's kinda hard saying this shit to your face so i do it over snares and bass, music take me away"

uh sorry. i mean projects.

man if he passed away at 27 he would've gone down as the greatest rapper in history. kinda ruined his legacy in the last three years. all the rappers still love and respect him though.

noisereductions 03.18.2013 04:22 PM

Carter 4 is still underrated :)

louder 03.19.2013 04:40 AM

holy shit guys, Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe remix featuring Jay-Z. https://soundcloud.com/topdawgent/bi...-my-vibe-remix

Kendrick fucking snapped on that last verse. dude is truly amazing i just hope he won't lose it after two albums like Lupe and many other fallen heroes.

what are your fav tracks? i used to hate it when it came out, but it's a fun album.

if Wayne started his career from his post-C3 material he'd still be one of my fav rappers i think. i bump all his recent projects, singles and featured tracks a lot, especially at the gym.
it just bothers me knowing he can do so much better y'know?

also, some of the best tracks he records usually don't go on any album because his manager is a fucking idiot.

i hope we'll get a boxset with all the Carter 3 sessions when it gets the 10 year anniversary treatment.

noisereductions 03.19.2013 07:18 PM

I think C4 is solid. Probably the only song I don't like is "How to Love" and the track with T-Pain.

"John" is amazing.

"She Will," "MegaMan," "Six Foot Seven," "Nightmares," "President Carter," "Mirror," etc... so much good stuff on there.

louder 03.20.2013 05:51 AM

yeah, without "How to Love" and "How to Hate" it's actually quite solid. replay value is crazy.

Blunt Blowin', Nightmares, 6'7", John and President Carter are my favs.

I agree. I wish more of his material was compiled on album format. I like pretty much everything the guy's done since 3. It's actually the earlier stuff I need to warm up to.

Note: I don't *love* everything since C3.

louder 03.20.2013 06:19 AM

his best moments can only be found on random mixtapes and unofficial compilations though.

for example "Light Up My (La La La)", "I Feel Like Dying", "Me and My Drank" and "Demolition Freestyle Pt. 1".
