Actually, are there any fans who've heard it all before, but will STILL buy it, just 'cause you love the Yoothers so much?

I can't imagine that this'll be the biggest best seller of the season, and sales will mostly depend on the rabid fanatics in this group. Not sure how much I care about this fact. I doubt any of the members have had to skip a meal in a long long time.

Still, what do you say? Everyone buy, like, a hundred copies or so as soon as it comes out, and let's make it shoot to number 1! It'll throw the industry for quite a loop. An expensive practical joke, but totally worth it.

I will buy it, because I want it and I want the real thing, with sleeve notes, pics and stuff.

I 'll probably buy it. I like to have "the real thing" for most of the bands i really love, plus high quality versions of songs i heard on mp3 is always a good thing. Hopefully the price won't be very high, considering it's a compilation of "old things" and that RR was released just a few months ago...

It's a little bit annoying how slowly details of this album are seeping out. With only five weeks to release, you'd normally expect it to have been listed on Amazon or something, but no, nothing.

Maybe it's all a hoax and they'll release a triple cd+dvd box---yeah,sure.

It will be the first Sonic Youth album that i wont buy because i don't feel like buying it.I'll save the dosh for some Ashtray Navigations,Corsano or grime/pop record that will enrich my record collection more than this piece of over revered crap.

It's a Sonic Youth release, so of course I'll buy it. I've gotta keep up the collection, right? It's an obsession bigger than either you or me, correct? Am I wrong or does perhaps the very fate of the world hang in the balance?

I'll probably buy it so long as I dont have to pay much more than $10 for it.

I'll buy it on the day of issue, because I like Sonic Youth rather a lot and because there's a fair bit of stuff on there that I don't have. I'm glad it's focused mainly on more recent stuff, but I hope it's merely the first in a series that covers all eras, or that there's some future all-encompasing boxset.

yeah, i'll buy it, but i'll wait for the LP. there are enough tracks i don't have to make it worth it. plus i have a vinyl fetish, and i would rather spend money with the band's label than universal/geffen. it is kind of stupid to have "is it my body" on there again after the dirty deluxe set though. lets hope this is the begining of some more rarities releases.

I already pre-ordered it.

i have too much stuff on my shopping list ahead of that and i already have most all of those tracks (and about 5 times as much bsides, unreleased, etc. etc.)

if i see it used and for a good price somewhere, i'll buy it.

yeah, that's me. heard it all on mp3s or on the mixtapes, but i'll buy it just for the unreleased stuff and blink, which i don't have on cd or vinyl.


the sad thing is... i probably even would've bought the damn thing if they had put "eyes and teeth" on it and had that been the only song i didn't yet own on cd or vinyl... even though "eyes and teeth" FUCKING SUCKS like someone rightly mentioned.

fuck no i'm not buying it. i have almost everything on it as it is. why would i want shit i already have in a different package?
