in an effort to encourage the irrevocable stains that are brought on by BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, let's use this thread to bag on companies that either through BAD POLICY or BAD PEOPLE, cause you to not only burn with anger but dream of smearing poo all over the internet about just how terrible they really are.

I'll start.


BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT (ie: China Inc.)

eat a bag of dicks, BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT. after million of compromised accounts, you surely know by now how shitty your security protocols are; so why don't you do something about them?

if an IP is "known to be exploitable" (read: motherfuckyouroundeye.CN), how about doing something to limit the capacity of said "KNOWN" exploitable IP so as to prevent them from....say....exploiting.

your willful neglect, and bitchmouthed customer service has caused you to not only lose ANY and ALL future income from a longtime and once staunch supporter, but that of ANY and ALL souls willing to listen to my woeful testimony.

in summary, your POOR customer service will cost you more than whatever it would have been to make me happy (read: pushing a button).

yeah I have an authenticator, but removed it when I cancelled wow 8 months ago.

they used a 10 day free trial to reactivate my account and rape me (7 months after the last time I logged in).

because of that, Blizzard will not allow me to use the trial for myself, and I'm not paying for the expansion sight-unseen as it's likely rehashed old shit. I was still willing to give it a try for those times wen inky has to work. not any more.

had the motherbitch at "customer service" displayed the slightest bit of tact, I wouldn't be on the tirade that I'm now on. sure, it sounds like whining, but in these tough times, the customer should be king (or at least, wizard), lest you starve.

it is now my duty to warn the good folks of internetlandia about Blizzard and their Chinese cohorts in crime. hell, I'm not even buying Diablo III, nor will I play it unless I steal it from the net.

The lady on the phone at EDF energy used the word 'obviously' so much last year that I ended up saying, quite politely "I'm afraid it isn't 'obvious', that is why I'm calling; I appreciate you're trying to help me, but were these matters obvious I would not be calling. They charged my mastercard fraudulently and created porn sites, but shamelessly refuse to take the down or acknowledge any fraud in any way - they wouldn't even respond to a NYPD subpoena. They are a criminal organization. You can't even reach anybody live there. Its a joke.

I ordered a CD on Amazon a few weeks ago, did not receive it, asked for another copy, the seller didn't have one and refunded me ; so far everything's okay, but they should not use shitty translators to speak french, since ending your mail using the expression "Meilleurs voeux" (which is usually used for New Year's Eve greetings) when you meant to say "sincelery", "all the best", whatever, is the best way to lose any credibility.
Anyway, I eventually got the CD in the mail (though it was more than a month after it was sent - from England - , which is a lot), which means I got it for free, so I won't complain.

Well I can't complained I work customer service. I did have to tell some lady that she actually paid $40 for a rug quite a few times. She finally got it when I spoke to her in slow motion.

You know what I hate? I think some of those sellers on ebay or amazon who actually have company names and websites and whatnot are some skinny smelly teenagers that happen to live nearby a shop.

Because you buy something, you pay for it, and two weeks later you get an email saying "sorry we don't have your item in stock". You mean you sell things you don't even have hoping your mother will drive you to the shopping mall and you'll find it there, but sometimes you don't.

no, I haven't really cared much about the expansion and haven't even had a reason to play in over 8 months.

now that both ink and I are working (and sometimes different hours) we thought about trying it out (since there's a free trial).

there's no way in fuck that I care about the old content. been there> done that.

as I mentioned, I'll just wait until the new star wars mmo releases (most likely in a little over a month).
