No, I actually I love that piece, maybe even one of my favourites by them. I don't understand how there are so many fickle fans that claim to enjoy Sonic Youth, then bitch when do something new and fresh. "No improv! We want to hear Sugar Kane for the 300th time!"

some of quieter guitar/piano parts in "Theme de Simon" seem like they are about to segue into "Stil"/"Snare, Girl" but they never do
