Tanka time!
A tanka is a Japanese verse form in five lines, the first and third of five syllables and the rest of seven.
I invite anyone and everyone to pull out the dictionary and/or a thesaurus, study or exercise some English to put to work at the Americanized tanka form of poetry here! What say we have some fun with this challenge?
