you like it better than "youth of america"?

i love that record. i used to skate to it all the time in the mid 90's. i think it's better than "both sides of the brain".

Have you heard his Hunchback 12" with the Violators? I think its my favorite thing my him so far, even more so than Constant Hitmaker. His voice sounds great, much deeper and manlier, and he sounds great with a full band. Whoever that drummer is is incredible!

Anyways, im listening o one of the greatest free noie recordings ever: Monostadt 3-experiment 7. Monostadt 3 was Adris Hoyos with Pria Ray an Robert Priceof fellow south beach band and psychedelic punkers Kreamy Letric Santa (who just had a reissue come out ive been tryingto get a hold of). Distorted violin, vicious electronics, and Adris playing drums. Duh it fucking rules.

Earlier:
Cherry Blossoms-S/T
A-FRAMES CLIMAX GOLDEN TWINS-A F C G T
Climax Golden Twins-Imperial HouseholdOrchestra
Davenport-O, too high...
Failing Lights-Blood Path
Insects with Tits-Tour June 23
Mauhausan Orchestra-Kiss the Carpetr (such underrated noise, one of the originals and i hadnt heard them till a few days ago, its power electronics/heavy industrial but with that modern grimey sound that you get with bands like Antler Piss and such, needless to say its right up my alley)
Keiji Haino and Peter Brotzzman-some live tracks
Without Belonging-S/T
Thee Oh Sees-Work (i like it, they definitely punked it up a bit more for this record and im always down with that)
Factums-S/T
Work/Death-Vasectomy Desires

NO NEED FOR ALARM is amazing. "Catch A Bad One" might be the best track he ever recorded. The only Del album I like better is DELTRON 3030.

i've been listening to a lot of hip hop lately too. it might have to do with the fact that i've been watching a lot of skate videos. i tend to stick to the late 80's and 90's hip hop.

i think hwm before 2000 could be one of my favorite bands of all time. this is the first time i listened to them in many years and i still remember most of the lyrics.

I use a 10 point scale from now on:

7.5/10
Perfect length, enjoyable, and great trashy nuggets style guitar that's pure Neil. Check it out.

6/10
For every 2 cool songs there was one or so mediocore/overong ones... this band just didn't work too well.
&

5/10
Lil wayne's first ever appearence is on here, and considering his age, its quite good. But over all this one just has a weird feel to it...

i'm going through and listening to my whole record and cd collection without listening to an album twice, it is very refreshing to do and i got to this, it isn't great but it isn't terrible. a few really good tracks but mostly average tracks. anyway i'm 10% of the way through the 1500 cd's and 300 vinyl's.
