In 2002 I would have been torn between Karen Revisited and Radical Adults but in 2006 Sympathy For The Strawberry has won me over with it's sheer gorgeousness... also I've always really liked Plastic Sun

Spiritual Amnesia 03.28.2006 04:14 AM

Radical Adults Lick Godhead Style

I'll go for Karen Revisited, because it's one of the most experimental
songs of SY, and I think that comes a little closer to King Crimson best years

Nice to see that every track has at least a couple of votes. That's the sign of a strong LP in my opinion. When an opener as strong as The Empty Page gets such a low percentage of the votes, you know that things on this LP are good.

Hard choice between Rain on Tin and Karen Revisited, but had to go with Rain on Tin. It's amazing, one of my fav SY tunes!

Inhuman 03.28.2006 01:32 PM

I like The Empty Page

It's a hard decision, I like em all.
Radical Adults Lick Godhead Style stands out, along with Sympathy For The Strawberry.

Plastic sun makes alot of sense.

would have sworn i posted in this thread before, or maybe i'm thinking of 5 years ago on the old board

Radical Adults Lick Godhead Style, Thurston's poetry style can be hit or miss in the last ten years, this is lyrically one of his best of this century

Am I way off the mark?

Does this mean us americans are caught red-handed of some foul deed?

Karen Revisited, fools.

With Radical Adults Lick Godhead Style very close behind.

ZEROpumpkins 09.18.2007 04:13 AM

Rain on Tin, fools.

HECKLER SPRAY 09.18.2007 04:19 AM

Karen Revisited.
Rain on tin is not so bad.

screamingskull 09.18.2007 04:51 AM

Karen Revisited!

pbradley 09.18.2007 05:34 AM

Karen Revisited has too much forgettable ambient noise, without that it would be my fav.

But as is, Sympathy for the Strawberry. Reminds me of waking up early in the morning and eating cereal.

EvdWee 09.18.2007 08:33 AM

i can't decide

Protectmeyou 09.20.2007 12:45 AM

Sympathy for the strawberry. It's absolute perfection.

Best album closer I've ever heard (along with Expressway of course)

choc e-Claire 03.19.2019 05:59 PM

Street Sauce :D

(Actually, it's Rain on Tin)
