we'll be eating turkey sannys with mayo and swiss cheese tomorrow and then hot turkey sannies on official t day.

Yeah, being a literal convict dumping ground.

It gets worse too - we declared independence on January 1, 1901 (fuck our founding fathers for doing that), so we celebrate Australia Day on January 26, the day we colonised/invaded Indigenous land. And people lose their minds at the suggestion that maybe we change it.

My brother became CEO of a local Credit Union and is currently living with my Aunt (who we live with during the flood) until his home in Katy is sold, so he has been coming over for Sunday-Monday-Thursday night football and we grill and have a big time. My dad & stepmom arrive tomorrow staying with us for a couple of days. As usual, my Aunt is hosting all of us for Throbbing Gristle.
