Nothing is ever as good as throwing a bunch of musicians in a room but until you get to that point you should do some recordings!

What program do you use to record?

Just wave editor. I use Wavelab. It's all analog.

If you have original ideas you should record them to a click. Then just include 4 clicks (or whatever) before the song starts so other musicians could sync with it. I would be happy to play bass or whatever until you find a real band! rock on...
