Greil Marcus also edited one of the Lester Bangs collections and provided the liner notes for the Confusion is Sex reissue if I'm not mistaken... this sounds pretty interesting...

What Dylan question was posed to Kim?

a question was asked to which kim & greil agreed that dylan's 1st albums were his best and the ones released in the recent years were him choking his own voice. greil gave the example that dylan wrote a blues song about oakland a's pitcher catfish hunter being an outlaw when he went to the yankees. greil has written a few books on dylan so those were discussed. greil joked that many people have told him that his book Mystery Train has changed their lives but they never have an explanation as to how. kim later quipped that her life was changed by the book because she ended up getting into elvis...

well too bad this fucking board was broken all day and i didn't find out until now. fuck fucking fuck.

kim also said that france is SY's biggest market outside of the u.s. and that they enjoy playing there. she also said that she enjoys interviews with the french press because they always ask something like: when you recorded such and such did you have this and that in mind bc it sounds like you were trying to do this and that. and she can just respond with a "yeah, yeah exactly."

Sounds cool what did she say anyone go?
