Talking Heads - Fear of Music

Yeah, Crystal Castles aren't very good. There is some weird hype about it -- I mean, I was doing that kind of music 8 years ago... tons of people have been doing it for years, it's not some new or exciting thing. They actually got into trouble for sampling some chip tune artist for a few of their songs haha. I just downloaded the new Bauhaus album "Go Away White", haven't listened to it yet though. |

Wow, how is that? Does it sound like Morricone, or Zorn? |
Both... Haha.
It's not as radical or insane as a person would think, and really it's probably better just to listen to most of the original versions of the songs. It's still a great album though. Lots of guests on it. I'm listening to chinese democracy. It sucks. |

i was promised over the top ridiculousness and all i'm getting is xiu xiu lite, like if jamie didn't like john cage and yellow swans and gamelan and black sabbath and listened to banjo music or something. ok, the ridiculousness just went up. |

How is that one? It's one I always meant to pick up. |
I am only half through right now (just found it today in the mailbox)
but its easily in the top 3 of my hooker/ranaldos, still bouquet is on the top, thats just a perfect ranaldo hooker record. but I can tell there is pretty much spoken word in envisioning! and really strong outspoken. definately a good one |
ok update I am through it one time now.
the end got some real cool noise parts!!! like it pretty much, definately recommended! |

Great gatefold LP here. I used to hear this a lot when I was a kid and now I've unearthed it from the attic I'm getting back into the swing of this greek songbird. |
