This boot culls tunes from Boston, Philadelphia and Ft. Worth. There's a bunch of summer '72 soundboards out there. I saw them in January of '73 in Hawaii, on their way to Australia. They were gonna do a Japan tour but were denied entry cause of some stupid pot charges or somesuch. I've got that show too....the Jan. 21, 1973 'In Exotic Honolulu' killer show. Here's a couple of pictures from my show.....:D They weren't even 30 years old yet ! |
The Fall - Peel Session number 8

The Fall - Peel Session no 12.
The golden era of Fall Peel sessions that began with session 8 ends here with session 12. Those 5 sessions represent a sustained period of absolute, untouchable majesty. Sessions 1 - 7 and 13 - 24 are great too! |
Against the grain, I've got a good a boot from their 73 European tour, too, on vinyl--Nasty Music. A double LP. Truly one of their best recordings in or out of the studio, imho.

Have you seen the boot video...'Cocksucker Blues' ?.....wild document of the '72 summer tour...and yeah, that '73 Fall European tour is excellent. The last really good tour of the Stones IMHO ! I'm listening to The Zutons. A friend in the UK thought I'd like it...it's catchy..poppy....some good tunes. Right now...it's on.. 'You've got a friend in Me'......it's awright.... |

I didn't know that. :( You wouldn't perhaps know where I can get it atari? There aren't many cd's or records with that version of "Love supreme". Let alone video material. |
Sonic Youth - Rather Ripped [because I'm going to see them tonight (07/09) & tomorrow (07/10)].I just want to get more familiar with the new stuff. They seem to be playing a lot of it.
