Riots in North London

It's all going off. Looks pretty scary.

Pookie 08.07.2011 05:04 PM

Bloody yobbos.

Pookie 08.07.2011 05:09 PM

For god's sake don't let them see this: "... initial ballistics tests on a bullet, found lodged in a police radio worn by an officer during Thursday's incident, suggested it was police issue – and therefore had not been fired by Duggan."

RanaldoNecro 08.07.2011 05:31 PM

Well at least people give a shit about something. Pissed off enough to take back the city.

Please don't make this guy a martyr.

SONIC GAIL 08.07.2011 06:05 PM

Since when r u brits not rioting?

Pookie 08.07.2011 06:07 PM

Since a police officer shot a man dead. I know it happens all the time in the US but in Britain it's just not the done thing.

Pookie 08.07.2011 06:07 PM

I'd go as far as to say it's bad form.

SONIC GAIL 08.07.2011 06:11 PM

Fucked up shit pooks. X0x0

Pookie 08.07.2011 06:17 PM

I would head up there and give them rioters a hand but I've got a Napoleon torte in the oven.

demonrail666 08.07.2011 06:23 PM

And to think, we all laughed at the Kaiser Chiefs

Pookie 08.07.2011 06:25 PM

What's Kaiser Chiefs' stupid hair got to do with it?

Pookie 08.07.2011 06:25 PM

Or should that be Chiefs's?

I have a friend from the U.S. who is visiting London as we speak. Pretty intense.

demonrail666 08.07.2011 08:45 PM

The areas so far affected are Tottenham and, to a far lesser degree, Enfield, Wood Green, Walthamstow and Brixton. With the possible exception of Brixton, there's no real need for a visitor to go to any of those areas. I've lived in London all my life and never stepped foot in Wood Green. I'm not even all that sure where it is.

floatingslowly 08.07.2011 09:06 PM

can't we all just get along?????¿

Genteel Death 08.08.2011 01:51 PM

More areas affected today: Hackney, Elephant & Castle, Harlesden, Shoreditch and Lewisham.

SonicBebs 08.08.2011 02:09 PM

reports on fb saying Croydon has kicked off too

but i've seen no news reports yet (and i live far enough away from the town centre to be affected) (so far...)

SonicBebs 08.08.2011 03:26 PM

ok, now i can see smoke

Genteel Death 08.08.2011 03:39 PM

It kicked off round here now.
