the modern dance is almost as amazing as funhouse.

Well, Pere Ubu is my all-time favorite band ever. Been obsessed with them for many years. I was at a msuic store a long time ago and saw the Datapanik in the Year Zero box and just knew, without ever having heard any Pere Ubu in my life up to then, that I needed it. And I was right.

Some great lo-fi indierock/pop with a to awsome for words Dead C songs. But if it's comes to awsome australian rock comps nothing beats the flying nun 25th box. That thing is so....awsome at so many levels.

4.5/5
A little overrated, but still damn good.
I still wish there were some more agressive lyrical mc's.. and that the production on this album was better (I'm not talking beats, I mean the mixing is a little light on the vocals)

That's all good but they are Kiwi (New Zealand) bands. If you like the 80s and 90s stuff, here's a couple of Australian bands that might interest you.

Slave Girl by Lime Spiders (made in the early 80s and recorded live by the old bastards last year).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMHYm8xCvEY
Sailor's Dream by Wet Taxis from early 80s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2KXdl5yTJY
Winterland by Died Pretty (mid-80s)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysu9D...eature=related
...and some dark humour from the mid-90s
play this intro first: Anton on TISM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOPkt...eature=related
then this, the song he refers to: (He'll Never Be An) Ol' Man River byTISM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3PhW...eature=related

Nope haha. My mom is though. I'm a senior and since I already have all my credits I get one period of late arrival.
Yeah I didn't see him but I heard bad things. I only went on Sunday.

Knew wet, lime(which I love) and dried. TSIM sounds great, might hunt that one down this week.
