IT started out seeming cool enough (sonic youth style guitars, some decent kim vocals, what's not to like right?) then that first song wound up being incredibly repetitive not to mention six minutes of repetition. Then almost everything else was just kind of not clicking at all for me... I can't really pinpoint where this album goes wrong but it does. |

Washing the unpleasent taste of Free Kitten out of my ears with:
Only four songs in, but its already amazing What's some other good husker du? This is all I have/heard. |

Yeah ok, I get what your'e saying now. LIke the grass just looks kind of poorly added in.
And the inside flap is only worse.... almost comical... they get all satanic... and the results are laughable. Their photoshop version of hell is quite the subject of making fun. |
they like soft-focused it or something
|
I really don't mind the new Free Kitten so much. It has a fair amount of decent tracks, they're not all necessarily zingers but I'm sure they're all highly capable of growing on listeners (especially those who post on SY forums).
I'm going to wait before I judge Inherit; it's interesting, disjointed and may surprise me in the long run. If there's anything Free Kitten should not be rated on, it's accessibility. PS: 'Bananas' is great. |

WHo has J. Mascis come on their album to play drums!? XD that made me laugh when I saw that on the inside. Surf's up benefited from his guitar work though. |

Album just had too many completley blah songs... |
All this talk about Free Kitten put me in a mood for OOIOO. |
That looks like the happiest album ever.
|
OOIOO makes me glad to be alive.

Dumb question, but I'm not really into hard drugs.. is speed and meth the same thing?

speed is amphetamine and meth is made of all kinds of nasty shit |

^^Nice
Good shit : ) |
speed is the street name for true amphetamines.
"crystal" or "crystal meth" is a derivative amphetamine. they are both mind and body destroyers, although I hear than one good snort of it and you can stay up all night cleaning. |
|
i would take speed once because i never have.
but not meth. shit's gross. my aunt did it for years and she used to run around with a black wig on and thought people were following her in pizza hut. |
great story
