Bowery Electric are no more for a very long time. btw, if you dig June of 44, try also Shipping News and Aerial M. Similar stuff. |

Yup. Also Russian Circles to an extent. And Polvo. And Unwound, too, really. June of 44’s great though. Sharks and sailors! I loved Bowery Electric as well. |
Have yous heard June of 44's latest album? The old songs on there are canny (though baffling to be on there in the first place) but the new ones...urgh.
For similar stuff to prime JO44 I'd recommend Duster. Their newest release is as good If not better than the original run of LP's although with less slow-core meanderings. |
Good shoegazey Britpop stuff. |

If you're not dead by self induced trauma by the end of that I'll eat my proverbial hat. Cunt has a whiney voice doesn't he?! what a cunt. Just listen to the damage done because that was the pinnacle no? should be 3 minutes of your time instead of 3 million hours of whiney cuntishness |
Such a great album. Kind of my go-to around the time when everything is really starting to get green outdoors. |

Still a great album. Hits a bit different now though, knowing that Ian Brown is a conspiracy-nut maskhohle. |
