"Kraut und Rüben" - documentary
For all the Germans,Austrians, Swiss and other people who are able to get
the 3Sat Channel and missed this documentary before. This week they send all the 6 parts again. Part One, yesterday, was pretty good. a lot of interesting interviews with the musicians and producers, i really loved the Ralf Ulrich Kaiser interview, where he was really high and talked about his Sternenmädchen projekt- what an interesting but fucked up guy. i downloaded a torrent of that a while ago, but that was only about an hour... i wonder now if that was just one episode or a summary of the whole thing.

if i remember well they tell the history of krautrock by focussing on different cities:
berlin with tangerine dream, ash ra temple and probably some more... dusseldorf with kraftwerk/organisation, neu... some 3rd city? (or just the rest of germany?) with popol vuh, faust and others i'd have to look for it somewhere, because i probably burned it on cdr and then didn't label it and lost it like usually happens with things i burn on a cdr. you probably could still find it somewhere as a torrent i guess. |
That series is great, they've got some nice footage going on. Waiting for the next episode this night. And hopefully after all was aired, we'll see it again on Dime.
