A libertarian is more likely to pinch votes off of Trump than Biden, if only because I can't see anyone with libertarian tendencies considering Biden to begin with. I don't know enough about Amash specifically to speculate on how big of an impact he'll have on Trump's support, but my guess is it'll be pretty negligible. And even if he does decide to run he's not even guaranteed the Libertarian nomination yet.

i remember checking stats for my state, and i probably mentioned it years ago in this same thread. the combined totals for democrat and 3rd parties wasn't enough to overtake our electoral votes going to Trump. Unless we've somehow managed to swing that far, I suspect the same will happen again.

So being that I'm still not in a swing state by any means, I'm voting for who I actually want to go in, and the idea that I could potentially vote Amash, is intriguing.
