You know, I cant even listen to these guys anymore. Just because they were there at one of the most intense periods of my life, besides being naturally melancholic sounding on their own. And I've spent so much time in that place, I feel like I need to stay the hell out.

The problem with melancholia/depression, whatever people want to call it, is that it has vague romantic associations, like someone suffering with it is going to write some profound poem, when the more likely response is going to be a day spent staring blankly at a crack in the ceiling.
